Erik Kessels - iLLustration 

For my magazine spread I plan to include some illustrations of which I have commissioned artists to do. This particular illustration was drawn by JOE ELSON who is currently studying Animation at AUCB. I gave him free reign with the content and construction of the illustration, only mentioning points that it had to look unique and bring out a more lively character through the illustration. 

I really like it, and after showing Joe only a few photos of Erik Kessels I am astonished and thrilled with the finished illustration. I plan to possibly develop it further, trialling a few digital experiments on it and comparing it to the raw quality, possibly overprinting.
