Chique - Magazine Day Project

This is a magazine that was created in a group today. In my group was Niall, Josh, Lisa, Sofia and Me. We had been allocated a topic in which we would base a magazine on, there were 5 subheadings that had to be used for five separate magazine spreads. These were Spring Trends, Hats, Accessories, Black and The Suit. 

We worked well in a group brainstorming and generating ideas very quickly, gathering inspiration from an Yves Saint Laurent Fashion Manifesto and other magazines. The production stages could have gone a little smoother with less distractions for some members and more structure for our designs. We had as a group a good knowledge of the plan but as time was against us some aspects were left aside. This resulted in some magazine spreads not following the main theme and style of the magazine. 

Overall I was happy with the final product and I think we pulled it out of the bag to an extent. I was pleased with my final magazine spread, creating a clean layout featuring a predominant series of photos. I think that if we finish this project as a group we will have a worthy piece to add to our portfolios.
