Recently started to look at my plans for my final project of the year. It’s an important unit that I hope will bring the best out in me. It’s very much self initiated forming my own outcome and project aims. 

I would like to do something in connection with the London 2012 Olympics, with possible ideas such as the development of an iPhone Application that would allow locals/Londoners to avoid problem hot spots. This is not to put a bad tarnish on the planned London Olympics but simply an app that helps those who are trying to get to work or planning other events around the time. It could give traffic updates and other travel information along with maps and alternative events that you may be interested in. 

Another idea I had was to produce a daily paper for the Olympics, of goings on surrounding the games. This would be structured around design principles and not the tabloid common visuals of daily papers. If created my plan is to create a uniquely designed small daily paper with possible interviews, the best olympic shots of the days goings on and other topics. 

Slightly undecided at the moment but I may pursue out the daily paper idea as I want like working with printing techniques.
